6 ways to journal + benefits of journal writing

 Journaling will help you organize your thoughts and will make your life better in many ways. I have started journaling since 3 months and it has made my life much more simple by helping me get rid of negative thoughts or worries and also helped me to connect with myself and selfdiscover. It has also helped me to be more productive.



Here are some techniques which i personally use, i'll be mentioning why i chose these technique and how it helped me.

1. Gratitude journal

Writing down 3 things you are grateful for everyday is the best way to start your day. Don't worry about it being big things, it can be small things like being able to spend quality time with your friends, or simple things in your life which makes your life worthwhile. When you are grateful more things will flow into your life to be grateful for and it will help you to cultivate a positive mindset throughout the day. 

2. Journaling for self

Write down all the thoughts and worries which is bothering you before you go to bed and make sure you are being truthful to yourself because it can sometimes feel embarassing as well . It can be even a single page or two to three pages. What this does is that you can take out all the negative emotions and feelings from your mind, it can help people with insomnia or even if you just cannot get sleep because of random thoughts going on in your head. This has helped me a lot as it makes me feel relieved when i get rid of all those thoughts and feelings after i write those down. 

3. Present me vs Future me

This is a journal idea which i got from the youtube channel lavendaire and trust me it is one of the best way to discover yourself and be a better person. This journal is something you can do once in a while or maybe once in a year. In this journal write down about your present self, how confident you are, your success, your present beliefs about your self and the spiritual journey you are at, everything that represents the present you. In another page write down all the things you want to make better in your own life or how much growth you want to achieve by the end of the year. This will help you make a clear defined goals for your self and will help you achieve them sooner, also you can discover how you really want to be in future.

4. Scripting technique

This is a technique where you write down or script your dream life, everything you want to achieve in future and basically how your life is gonna look like after lets say five years. Here you write them in present tense for example instead of writing i am going to have this car or this job you write i own this car as if you already have it and make sure you feel it. This will create a powerful mindset of already having it which will help you bring all these things in reality through law of attraction.

5. Self love journal

In this journal start making a list of all the things you love about yourself no matter how small or simple those are. Add on to the list everytime you discover new things you find about yourself which you love or your new achievements. This is one best method to achieve self love.

6. Planning journal

Planning journal can be used to plan out things in your life like your business or just simple daily tasks, you can brain dump ideas into this journal , plan and organise by writing it down so that you feel less stressed and also it is going to help you incase you forget things easily.
